When PokerStars / FoxBet wanted to launch TV advertising campaigns in regulated U.S. markets, specifically Pennsylvania and New Jersey they partnered with Fall Off The Wall. We handled everything from creative conception and CGI production to regulatory collaboration, working hand-in-hand with FoxBet’s teams to make sure every advert hit the mark while staying fully compliant with state-level gambling regulations.
Navigating a Highly Regulated Environment
Pennsylvania and New Jersey have some of the strictest rules around gambling advertising. That meant every script, every visual, every line of copy had to go through multiple compliance checks — internally with our team and with FoxBet’s legal experts — and meet state requirements. Ads had to clearly disclose promotions, include responsible gambling messaging, and feature the mandatory 1-800-GAMBLER helpline.
Keeping Brand Consistency Across States
Even with all the regulations, the campaign had to stay unmistakably PokerStars. Tone, look, and feel needed to feel premium, trustworthy, and fun to connect with U.S. audiences. We had to develop that balance between creativity and compliance, and ensure the brand came through strongly in every market.
Budgets and Timescale
We were working under a tight window: just 4–5 weeks from brief to delivery, and with a lean budget since this was a pilot campaign for a spring tournament series. Success would open the door to a larger rollout across another tournament.
We ran hands-on brainstorming sessions with FoxBet stakeholders to shape ideas that aligned with brand goals and regulatory guardrails in PA & NJ. The concepts were designed to be easily adapted to other states. From day one, compliance was built into every concept. Responsible gambling language, approved terminology, and region-specific legal disclaimers were integrated directly into scripts, so creativity and compliance went hand-in-hand.

Beyond the broadcast spots, we produced cutdowns, stills, and other supporting assets, giving FoxBet flexibility across multiple media platforms without losing brand consistency.
