It all started with a (CG) roll of the dice for a Sky Vegas sponsorship piece. It made serious impact and led to the next 15 years of creative collaboration, epic CG asset creations, and stunning live action shoots building incredible brand growth.
Sky Vegas only exist online. They do not have a street presence like many of their competitors. We felt it was very important that we make a digital brand feel physical. Give it a sense of location, make it a world you can visit and experience. Together we developed Red World, which became the destination where all new games and assets would live and breathe. All assets are created with multi-channel usage in mind, so any assets appearing in TV adverts would first be pressure checked by all teams in the development stage to ensure they work in all channels. This was one of the key strengths to the brand, that it looked the same and was consistent everywhere, giving it a real sense of existing, as well as maximising brand recognition.
Working collaboratively is in our DNA. No one knows the brand better than the client, and by sharing and bouncing ideas, together it enables us to push ourselves for greater results. From developing an ownable Red World environment, building bespoke brand assets, creating a buzz around new Bonus Rounds, to landing festive-fuelled fun, we’ve helped to evolve the brand and keep consistency across all touch points. The clever utilisation of TV, digital, social, working together across all channels have been key to the Sky Vegas success story, helping them stand-out from the crowd and be crowned the nations favourite online gaming platform.
To create a believable world for the King to exist it means a lot of upfront planning. From live action shoots with green screen, in camera VFX to intricate CGI animation, with Sky Vegas, we’ve done it all. We use a ‘Super Shoot’ approach where will we have three days of back-to-back filming to capture material for all TV, Digital and Print for multiple executions and outputs for an entire campaign. These are always exciting as well as challenging projects, combining the use of light rig systems, with realistic simulations and atmospherics, bringing maximum quality and creativity to every aspect of the nearly 500 outputs we’ve so far created. We keep close to the action, tracking and compositing all the elements in-house with Nuke, giving us ultimate control of the aesthetic to ensure we consistently deliver the quality our clients expect across all channels.
